GigPig is the UK’s fastest growing hospitality music marketplace and booking platform, with a growing headcount and big ambitions.

The company occupies an industry niche that is ripe for disruption and they are taking impressive strides.

With rapid growth underway and future plans to keep that going, the company did not just need a new office. They needed a flexible office lease deal which would drive further growth rather than tie them down to a limited amount of space.

However, they also didn't want to be in a serviced office, desiring their own private space. That meant they were looking for a managed office space which was not common in Manchester at the time.

They also wanted a cool new home for their newly formed team that would reflect the company's vibe.

With that in mind, Level was chosen to search for an office space that would boost GigPig’s business operations and align with their plan to keep growing fast.

We worked with Kit Muir-Rogers - a co-founder of GigPig - to hone in on the brief and found some options to meet the company's requirements.

Manchester city centre’s Bridge Street Studios offered the perfect mix of everything GigPig needed – a vibrant environment, flexible lease terms, good ground floor amenities including a space that was a cafe by day and a music venue by night.

This was ideal for the GigPig who had their own decks and loved that they had a space they could perform and entertain the other tenants of the building.

Finding managed space that hit the brief in an immature market was a challenge, but following consultation with the Level team, the company signed up for 12 months at Bridge Street Studios - saving £76,000 in the process.

Level cared about our business beyond just finding our office space, they took the time to understand where we were going as a business and our challenges whilst opening up their network to Gigpig."
