Chatloop is re-inventing the way people browse the web. To do that, it needs a workspace environment that encourages social collaboration.

By enabling users to start conversations from anywhere on the web, Chatloop aims to disrupt the social media ecosystem.

To do that, the company is growing its workforce fast and it needed a flexible office environment where a tech start up can innovate, create and move fast. 

Following a £2.1m raise, the company needed a new office space which met particular criteria.

Getting the work environment right

Fast growing tech companies need a workspace with the right energy. It also needs to be flexible so that they can expand quickly and at short notice if required.

The Chatloop team also wanted a space with great transport links, preferably equidistant between Manchester Victoria and Manchester Piccadilly stations. They also wanted good natural light to keep the workspace accessible and healthy.

The timeframe was relatively short so we arranged for three of Chatloop's team to view 11 office spaces over the course of one day. Following that, it was agreed that Huckletree in Ancoats was the choice and provided the ideal working environment for a social media disruptor like Chatloop.

It was in the right place, had the perfect feel for the company and provided all of the amenities they wanted. Surrounded by innovative companies, Chatloop took 21 desks with the capacity for further expansion in the same location when they grow.

Best of all, by being one of the first companies in the building's newly expanded area, we were able to secure Chatloop a 23% discount on the rental cost.
