Fairmont Recruitment is a specialist recruitment consultancy, partnering with clients and candidates across the technology sector.

Businesses in this sector need certain things. In Fairmont’s case, the recruitment business means that a workspace has to be easy to get to. That meant a central location with good transport links – also good for the company’s staff who benefit from hybrid working. 

It is also preferable for a technology recruiter to be near businesses of that type, which meant choosing an area with good exposure to tech companies.  

When it came to the workspace itself, Fairmont wanted a space with real character that would create a fun working environment for staff.

They also needed to move extremely quickly on an all inclusive budget, so needed an office that was already fitted out.

Marketplace expertise wins the day

Following a call with CEO Jack Donohue, we kicked off the search straight away and arranged viewings in the same week.

Our experience in the market allowed us to present a range of options in places which met Fairmont's criteria, Calico next to St. Peter's Square which.

This city centre location offers a great combination of all the factors that Fairmont needed, and Joe was able to find the company a great deal.

That included a new meeting room being fitted into the space ahead of the moving in date. We worked successfully with the landlord to arrange this following a meeting with Fairmont.

This saved Fairmont all fit out costs as per their criteria, and we also managed to get save them £45,000 rent free, too. Best of all, the move was arranged and completed in just three weeks - the fastest deal we have ever done.
